Olami UCLA

Olami UCLA is a comprehensive Jewish student organization serving the Los Angeles, CA community through an extensive array of programs designed to foster personal growth, professional development, and spiritual enrichment. Based at the University of California - Los Angeles, Olami UCLA creates meaningful experiences that enable students to develop professionally while deepening their connection to Jewish culture and values.

The organization offers The Summit Experience (TSE), an 8-week intensive program that provides networking opportunities, professional mentorship, and connections with business leaders across global markets. Students invest approximately 2 hours per week in this transformative experience while building relationships with peers and professionals in their fields of interest.

Beyond professional development, Olami UCLA facilitates regular Shabbat dinners featuring traditional Jewish cuisine and community celebration, along with carefully curated social events that foster friendship and cultural connection. The organization maintains robust mentorship and internship programs that connect students with the largest Jewish professional networks worldwide, including opportunities in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Phoenix, Houston, Israel, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

Olami UCLA also organizes international trips and Shabbatons, providing students with immersive experiences that combine learning, personal growth, and community bonding. The organization's leadership team, including Rabbi Sam and Rabanit Rachel Benady, along with student Director Raquel Horowitz, brings extensive experience in community building, spiritual guidance, and student support.
